This handy plugin enables you to see preview thumbnails of your psd files. This can be really helpful to someone who has a load of psds and has no idea what they are.

I used to spend so much time looking for ways to enhance my YouTube experience but after a while I realized that the damn site changes so much and breaks a lot of add ons and grease monkey scripts that it’s not really worth trying to get YouTube tweaks. It’s kind of like how Firefox updates too fast for a lot of add-on support to stay updated and current.
WhoSampled.com seems to be a great site to burn time at, in the tiers of TvTropes. I found it when I was looking for more sources on a report that a sample of Navi was used in The Offspring’s “Pretty Fly for a White Guy” hit. I didn’t find Navi on the song’s page but I found the site.
I found a more decent-looking add-on for YouTube that shows you video ratings before you click on the video and find out it’s crap. This time, the ratings fit cleanly under each thumbnail and look a lot better.
Every time I find something useful that I know other people would also enjoy, I’ll share it on this blog.
This is probably the first time I’ve ever posted a relatively complete story bio on the Night Troupe but here goes:
Normally when I attempt to find a site listing search syntax usable on YouTube, I often get crappy results but I finally got one!
What they neglect to mention is that you can also look up categories such as “how to & style” or “people & blogs” but I think you may have to memorize the exact spelling or the syntax may not work though I haven’t tested it.
Of course syntax that works in most search engines like the hyphen prefix to exclude something or the quotations for the exact thing will work.
Edit: Okay, I just tested a search using only the word “blogs” instead of “people & blogs” and the engine didn’t filter by category.
